SADIQABAD - A number of delegations from various union councils cried out for early resolution to their problems such as sewerage water inundated in streets and dilapidated roads, during their meeting with PML-N leader and Coordination Committee Chairman Asif Majeed in Rahim Yar Khan.

On the occasion, he was informed of the dilapidated roads and poor sewerage system of their respective areas.  They said that the most of the roads were in a shambles and irking the road users by creating several problems and stressed the need for immediate solution to the issue.  Likewise, the Jinnah Park delegation told the PML-N leader that because of sewerage project, the Jinnah Park streets had been inundated with sewerage water and the residents had no way to pass through them.

Whereupon, he said that soon the Punjab chief minister would visit the district and he would get a huge amount approved for the district. The Coordination Committee chairman also pledged to get a huge amount sanctioned for Rahim Yar Khan district by the Punjab government in the forthcoming budget to resolve their problems. He said that development projects would be launched across the district with the proposed funds and the district would be made a modal one. He added that the mega sewerage project would be completed by June 30.
