LAHORE – Eisha, a female fashion model, appealed on Sunday to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and inspector general of police to direct relevant authorities to arrest her ex-husband, an alleged fraudulent, because Civil Lines Police (Investigation) were using delaying tactics and Johar Town Police were even refusing to register an FIR against him.

Addressing a press conference at the Lahore Press Club on Sunday, Eisha told reporters that she married Naved Paracha in 2002 and settled in Dubai after that, but kept sending him money amounting to over Rs10 million.

“In 2009, I got divorce from Naveed and demanded my money back, on which he issued me cheques that were bounced by the relevant banks,” she alleged. Eisha further said Civil Lines police registered a case against Naveed but Johar Town police even refused to lodge cases against him. Eisha believed the Civil Lines police were patronising the culprit and demanded of the authorities to arrest him.

and take legal action against him.
