Residents protest power outages






PESHAWAR - Hundreds of residents of Badhabera Sunday staged protest demonstration against prolonged power outages and blocked main Kohat road for all kinds of traffic.
The protest rally was led by Provincial Leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Nasir Moosazi who also addressed the protesters. Holding banners and placards the infuriated protesters also chanted full-throated slogans against the government and WAPDA. Addressing on the occasion Nasir Moosazia said that due to excessive load shedding their routine life has been badly affected and there is severe shortage of clean drinking water.
He said that the power traffic has been regularly increasing with each passing month but not practical step has been taken to control prolong and unscheduled load shedding. 
He said that despite this that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is one among the largest power-producing province but still it is being treated like step- mother. The protester blocked the main Kohat road for all kind of vehicular traffic.
