PESHAWAR - A policeman was killed while another sustained injuries when unknown armed persons opened firing on them here at Urmar area on Tuesday.
Sources said that policeman Farhad Khan was coming to police lines to perform his duty when some unknown persons attacked him. As a result of firing Farhad was killed while his colleague got injured seriously. The injured was shifted to Lady Reading Hospital.
Heavy contingent of police rushed towards the area after the attack and started a search operation.
