Consultation will continue, CM assures businessmen

LAHORE - Prominent industrialists, businessmen, bankers and economists of the country met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif here Friday and discussed various proposals for strengthening of economy, creation of job opportunities and accelerating industrial process.

The industrialists thanked the chief minister for the supply of LNG gas to industrial sector. Representative delegation of industrialists, businessmen, bankers and economists, while talking to the chief minister, said that due to his efforts and hard work, gas is continuously available to industries. They said that Shehbaz Sharif is serving the people of the province with a vision and the credit for speedy development activities in Punjab including Lahore goes to him.

The chief minister said that effective measures are being taken for accelerating industrial process as it is essential for creation of job opportunities and increase in investment. He said that exports could be increased through increase in investment. He said that process of consultation will be continued with industrialists and businessmen in future as well.

Those who met the Chief Minister included President Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry Abdul Rauf Alam, President Bank Alfalah, Atif Bajwa, Chairman Indus Motors Ali Habib, Chairman Gul Ahmad Textile Mills Bashir Ali Muhammad, Chairman Lakson Investment Limited Iqbal Lakhani and other prominent businessmen and industrialists.
