PESHAWAR:- The Counter-Terrorism Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa yesterday nabbed two Afghan spies allegedly working for a foreign intelligence agency. A CTD spokesperson said both the spies, who are Afghan nationals, were arrested during a search operation carried out on a tip off. The suspected spies were carrying fake identity cards and were also doing propaganda for a militant outfit, he added. Meanwhile, City police have also apprehended at least 90 suspects, including 12 Afghan nationals during search operation at Hayatabad and Paharipur areas on Friday. Police also recovered arms, ammunition and drugs from them.–Staff Reporter
