Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh Assemblies constitutional tenure will end at midnight today.

The last session of the Sindh Assembly will be chaired by Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani today. The Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah will host an iftar dinner in the evening for the cabinet members.

Murad Ali Shah will remain in charge until the interim chief minister takes over.

Before the tenure comes to an end Murad Ali Shah and Opposition Leader in Sindh Assembly Khawaja Izharul Hassan expected to meet to discuss the names for the names of the caretaker chief minister.

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly will also hold its farewell session today as the five-year term of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) concludes.
