LAHORE From Saturday (yesterday), six-day a week working has started, which had earlier been halted because of the power crisis. The government offices, educational institutions and banking sector, besides private organisations, remained open. On April 24 this year, the government had decided and announced to give Saturday off to the offices in Pakistan due to load-shedding. The govt gave up and admitted that it was unable to solve the shortage of electricity and load shedding issue in all cities and villages of Pakistan; so to avoid economy going further down, the working days were reduced in the offices too. During this period, the working hours were declared to be from 8am to 4pm. CH AAMER WAQAS November 27, 2010
