KARACHI - Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has given approval for handing over of under construction buildings - Post Graduate Degree College (Lyari), Barrister Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Law College (Lyari), SM Lyari Secondary School (Lyari) and GR Baloch Girls Primary School/Fakir Muhammad Dura Khan School (Lyari) to the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari. The colleges and schools, which have been transferred to the Lyari University, would continue to work as the constituent institutions of BBSUL under the faculty of Education and Law. Meanwhile, the area of land which has been handed over to the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari was visited by Registrar Dr Mehboob Ali Shaikh on Monday along with his faculty members and senior officers of the BBSUL.Another celebration of the possession of land (educational buildings) was shared among faculty member and students at BBSUL.However; last couple of days the news of approval of the higher educational status for Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari, Karachi, Sindh, by Higher Education Commission had also allowed for admissions in semester-2012, for which the admission test would be conducted on Wednesday (today).
