MANDI BAHAUDDIN - Pakistan Ex-Servicemen Society (PESS) Mandi Bahauddin Chapter President Major (r) Sher Muhammad Gondal said that governments had been not employing retired army men against the reserved quota. He said that most of soldiers retire between 36 to 40 years of age when they were young and need rehabilitation.

The government has reserved employment quota for jawans and JCOs but successive governments have failed to implement the reserved quota.

After retirement, JCOs, NCOs and other ranks keep on visiting government offices to find employment but no one accommodate them, he claimed.

He said that it was a great injustice with the retired soldiers who spent their best part of life in military service. He called upon the government and commanders of Armed Forces to consider the plight of exsericemen.
