LAHORE – A delegation of Punjab Specialists Association on Tuesday called on Special Secretary Health Babar Hayat Tararr at Punjab Civil Secretariat.

The delegation comprising of Dr Zahid Khan, Dr Tanveerul Hassan Zubairy, Dr Muhammad Ali Chatha, Dr Shamshad Syed and Dr Fariha Sadaf demanded representation in service rules committee. They told the Special Secretary that doctors working in far flung areas had lesser chances of promotion.

 They demanded allocation of more funds for tehsil and district level hospitals to facilitate rural population at doorsteps. Special Secretary Health assured the delegation to solve their legitimate and genuine problems at the earliest. He said that the Punjab Government was committed to address all the issues relating to health sector, especially faced by the medical community.
