LAHORE - Paying tribute to Maulana Zafar Ali Khan, Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust Vice Chairman Prof Dr Rafique Ahmad said the late leader was a great journalist.

He was a poet, an orator but above all he was a great journalist, said Dr Rafique Ahmad while addressing a sitting at the Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan on the 56th anniversary of Maulana Zafar Ali Khan on Tuesday.

The NPT Vice Chairman told the students that Zafar Ali Khan had participated in every Muslim movement during the British rule. He urged the students, the diamonds of the Quaid, to work hard and make the country a progressive state.

AWARENESS: The students of Government Boys High School Shahdara on Tuesday visited the Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan to attend Aghi programme of Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust (NPT). They also visited the Pakistan Movement Gallery on the occasion.

Also, mobile ideological units led by their coordinators visited Fouji Foundation Technical Training Centre near the Rangers Headquarters, Ahmad Model Public High School Faisal Town, Government Girls Middle School Khana Nepal near Arayan, Habib Public Model School Khana Nepal near Arayan, Government Forman Girls High School Shah Alam Market and Government Girls School Rang Mehal respectively.

The institution heads presided over the ceremonies in the said institutions. In their lectures, they lauded the NPT’s role in disseminating the Two Nation Theory to the new generation.

HNPIP seminar on tomorrow: The Hameed Nizami Press Institute of Pakistan is organizing a seminar on “Effects of Growing Extremism in Pakistan—Media Responsibilities” at HNPIP Auditorium near China Chowk, Majid Nizami Road on Thursday.

Former Federal Shariah Court Chief Justice Mian Mehboob Ahmad will preside over the session while PML-N Central leader Siddiqul Farooq and Pakistan People’s Party leader Naveed Ch will be the chief guests.  The speakers include Saeed Aasi and Israr Rana.
