LAHORE - Excise and Taxation Director General Naseem Sadiq has paid a visit to E&T office Farid Court House and supervised the maintenance of record of the Motor Branch, said an officer of E&T on Wednesday.
He said that DG E&T visited said office and remained present there by 4:00pm. It is worth mentioning here that new DG has started the maintenance of record of Motor Branch and has asked the E&T staff to spoil all the record after scanning the entire files. The officer said that there were 1.6 million files in the office and E&T subordinate staff was busy in putting all the files in order. Staff was performing 24 hours duty in this regard and they were not even being allowed to have holiday on Sunday.
