ISLAMABAD- Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has announced to protest against election rigging outside Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) office.

Giving a new deadline of government’s end, Imran Khan claimed that the change would have come by the Eid next year. He said that great achievements cannot be made without madness.

Addressing the sit-in on Monday in Islamabad, Imran Khan said that result of NA-122 has not yet been given. “The result will expose the fake mandate of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq”, said Imran. He said that criminal cases would be registered against the Returning Officers (ROs) involved in rigging. Imran Khan said that money was spent on Metro Bus instead of spending it on schools and hospitals.

Earlier, in an interview to a foreign channel, Imran Khan said that Parliament in Pakistan was a fraud. He said that all the parliamentary parties had joined hands to block change. He said that end of sit-in by Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri did not impact his party.

He said that he never gave any deadlines for Prime Minister’s resignation or toppling of government. “I always maintained that I will not end the sit-in without PM’s resignation”, he said. Imran said that he was giving a deadline now that ‘New Pakistan’ will have come into being by next Eid.
