LAHORE: As the trial in Model Town vandalism case is about to conclude, prime suspect Gullu Butt seems nervous in the court.
On the one hand he denied damaging any vehicle, and on the other he confessed to smashing windowpanes of only two cars.
During case proceedings, investigation officer recorded his statement before the court. Subsequently, the court summoned more witnesses on October 28.
On June 17, TV cameras had captured Gullu Butt damaging several vehicles in Model Town area of Lahore in the presence of police. He was later arrested on the orders of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. The court will resume hearing today. –NNI
