ISLAMABAD - Islamabad Leopards blew away golden chance to inflict win on NBP in a low-scoring Quaid-e-Azam Trophy (Gold) 2014-15 third round match here at Diamond Cricket Ground on Monday. Islamabad needed 148 runs for win but they could score 122-6 in 33.1 overs. Sarmad Bhatti made unbeaten 21. Ahmed Jamal took 3-22 and Hammad Azam 2-44. Earlier, NBP resumed their second innings at the overnight score of 4-1 in two overs and were bowled out for 128 in 39 overs. Hammad made 38. Shahzad took 5-62 and Zohaib 3-42. NBP scored 167 all out in their first innings. Islamabad were bowled out for 148 in their first innings. At Pindi Stadium, Rawalpindi Rams played out a draw against Port Qasim. Port Qasim made 299-4 in 68 overs in their second innings when umpires signaled the end of the match.
