KARACHI - Omar Associates Monday announced a cash reward of Rs 200,000 and a gold medal for Younus Khan for his twin hundreds in both innings of the first Test against Australia in Dubai. “This was a historic performance and achievement by Younis Khan by striking a century in each innings of the Test match,” Director Omar Associates Nadeem Omar said while announcing the awards. “Younus made our heads high with his incredible batting.” he said. It was gem of performance from a great fighter batsman. He also congratulated Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq, spinners Zulfiqar Babar, Yasir Shah, Sarfraz Ahmed and Ahmed Shahzad for the great performance. Nadeem Omar expressed the hope that the team will get all out to win the 2-match series.
