LAHORE - The City District Government has set up 11 relief camps in nine towns of the provincial capital for earthquake-hit inhabitants.
The citizens can contribute for earthquake affected people by donating goods at established relief camps. These camps have been set up at Lorry Adda (Ravi Town), Shalimar Chowk (Shalimar Town), Shadman, Laxhmi Chowk, The Mall (Data Ganj Bakhsh Town), Mughal Pura Pull (Aziz Bhatti Town), Bata Factory ( Wahga Town). Wapda Chowk (Iqbal Town), Moon Market (Samanabad Town and Nishter Town).
Earlier, DCO Captain (r) Muhammad Usman directed town administrators to set up relief camps at their respective towns for earthquake hit people. He also urged upon citizen to help earthquake hit people as they are in critical condition this time. He also said that City District Government Lahore would utilise all its resources to help earthquake affected people, considering it as religious and moral duty.
