Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited Dostpura, Kasur yesterday, and met earthquake affectees. The CM also announced financial assistance of Rs1.3million for the affectees and government job for the son of one Muhammad Ishaq who had lost life due to roof collapse during earthquake on Monday.

Shahbaz Sharif went to the house of deceased Ishaq and sympathized with the bereaved family.

He pledged that earthquake affectees would not be left in the lurch and the government would extend all-out for their rehabilitation. Shahbaz Sharif regretted that Khyber PK is the worst hit by the quake and the Punjab government stands by the affectees of the province.

The chief minister also handed over a cheque of financial assistance to the heirs of Ishaq besides announcing financial help for the wedding of his daughters.
