Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has prepared the working paper for hike in petroleum goods prices up to Rs6,” Waqt News reported. The new prices will be applicable from November 1.

According to media reports the price of petrol will be increased by Rs5.35, High Octane Rs6.10, Kerosene Oil Rs3.17, High Speed Diesel Rs2.43, and Light Diesel Rs3.63

Although petroleum goods' prices in international market are decreasing but Pakistan government is adopting a policy totally opposite to the global trend.

This policy is believed to be the result of a loan that the government has acquired from international monetary institutions like IMF, World Bank and Asian Development Bank.
