HAFIZABAD: Dog-bite incidents in Hafizabad city and its adjoining areas have increased while the Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) has miserably failed to annihilate stray-dogs.
Different local organisations have appealed to district administration to order the TMA to launch a special campaign to eliminate the pye-dogs. Such dogs have made the citizens' lives absolutely miserable particularly during the nights in the areas of Post Office Road, Kolo Road, Mian Da Kot, Sagar Road, Hassan Town, Sherpura, Qadirabad, Mohallah Dhabwala, Mohallah Bijli and Teachers Colony.
The inhabitants fear dog bites while coming out of their residences especially during the nights because of no proper arrangements of street lights by the TMA.–Staff Reporter
