Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) has replied to the letter of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Waqt News reported. “The Indian board is waiting for the government's approval for the Indo-Pak bilateral series,” the reply stated.

The PCB had sent a letter to BCCI asking for the complete confirmation or refusal with regards to the proposed cricket series in December this year.

The PCB chairman Shahryar Khan went to India for talks with the Indian cricket board, but the meeting was disrupted by the Shiv Sena activists. The PCB chairman returned due to the lack of hospitality by the BCCI, without getting any assurance regarding the series.
