PTI lawyers set up camp to facilitate workers

GUJRANWALA/RAHIM YAR KHAN -  The PTI Lawyers Wing has set up a camp in front of DCO office to provide legal assistance to their party workers in case of their arrest by the police to stop them from participating in November 2 protest.

Dozens of lawyers on Thursday participated in the camp and chanted slogans against government and warned the city district administration and police to avoid any action against PTI workers otherwise they are ready to  response any misbehaviour.

On the other side, a PTI leader alleged that the DPO office of Rahim Yar Khan had been turned into the monitoring cell for the arrest and harassment of PTI workers.

PTI district leader Rana Raheel Ahmed Khan in a press conference alleged that he received a call from special branch personnel who inquired him about the location of two PTI main stream leaders. He that DPO office has released the lists of PTI workers to all police station of the district and there were information that tonight police will carry out crackdowns on the PTI workers.

Meanwhile, the LPG Association staged a demonstration protest in front of DCO office against sealing their factories by the administration.

Dozens of LPG sellers gathered there and chanted slogans against district administration. Receiving the information about the protest, DCO Amir Jaan called the association leaders and said district administration is conducting raids on the instructions of government only against illegal LPG sellers. Meanwhile, Association President Abdul Rashid told the DCO that they have already submitted their files to OGRA authorities for their registration. They demanded that crackdown on LPG sellers and cylinder manufacturers should be stopped the sealed factories be opened immediately.
