ISLAMABAD:- Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, the senior judge of the Supreme Court, on Friday took the oath as acting Chief Justice of Pakistan. Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar is out of the country to attend the conference of chief justices of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation in Sri Lanka from October 27 to October 29. The oath to Justice Afzal was administered by Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed at a ceremony in the Supreme Court. The ceremony was attended by judges of the Supreme Court, the Advocate General Islamabad, senior lawyers, law officers and officers and staff of the Supreme Court were also present.–Staff Reporter
