ISLAMABAD Director General Pakistan Sports Board (PSB), Amir Hamza Gillani, urged national athletes to produce good results in the upcoming 29th Commonwealth Games scheduled to be held from October 3-14 at New Delhi, India. While speaking to national players in at Pakistan sports Complex on Monday, the DG PSB said that players were ambassadors of the country and they should display the image of the whole nation through their character in top sports events. He said the PSB had left no stone unturned in providing quality facilities and training to athletes during the camps at Islamabad. The athletes need to show passion, devotion and fighting spirit in games. Gillani also inquired about problems faced by national athletes during the camps. He also directed the concerned circles in the PSB to facilitate the athletes. The athletes assured the head of PSB that they would perform well and hoist green flag high in the Commonwealth Games.
