ISLAMABAD - The closing ceremony of the two days Paintings and Graphics Exhibition-cum-Competition of the students of Fazaia and FG Fazaia Schools & Colleges was held here at Aftab Auditorium, Fazaia Inter College, E-9.
Begum Shehla Tahir, President Pakistan Air Force Women Association (PAFWA), was the chief guest on the occasion. The chief guest emphasised the importance of such exhibitions, as these would multiply the students’ cravings for acquisition of knowledge and wisdom. She added that such activities would sharpen the students’ perceptions and provide them delight in creating harmony and grooming wholesome personality. She appreciated the hard work of Training Branch of PAF for providing inspiration and genuine guidance to Fazaia students in the field of creative art, says a press release issued here on Thursday.
Main themes of the paintings competition were “save the atmosphere for future” and “protect peace”.
Graphics prepared by the students were presented through multimedia slides. Students were grouped in various categories to prepare paintings, posters and computer graphics on the given themes.
The parents of the students and a large number of art enthusiasts witnessed the exhibition with keen interest and appreciated the efforts put in by the young artists who chose to convey their feelings and emotions through the medium of fine arts.
