QUETTA - The Balochistan Assembly on Thursday demanded the federal government to make sure the implementation of the resolutions passed by the provincial assembly in the last four years.Moving the resolution during the assembly session, Balochistan Water and Sanitation Minister Habibur Rehman Muhammad Hassani said that the federation had assured the Balochistan in the 18th amendment that all resolutions of its assembly would be implemented. He said that instead of addressing the grievances of Balochistan, the Pakistan People’s Party government halted the on-going projects in the province.Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid’s member Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhel said that implementation on the resolutions is necessary to run the system democratically and to pacify the Baloch people. MPA Tariq Masoori Bugti said that by not implementing the resolutions of provincial assembly, the federal government was giving justification to the people of Balochistan to resort to violence.Social Welfare and Environment Protection Minister Asghar Rind proposed that a Balochistan assembly session should be called outside parliament in Islamabad to demonstrate the gravity of the non-implementation of resolutions.
