KHANEWAL - Modern investigation methods coupled by state-of-the-art tool will enhance the success ratio to trace culprits and solve blind crimes. The awareness workshops on modern investigation methods for SHOs/inspectors are being organised to help build their professional capabilities and make them abreast with modern technology. DPO Rai Ejaz Ahmad expressed these views while addressing an awareness workshop held at district council hall the other day. MPA Aamir Hayat Hiraj was the chief guest on the occasion.The DPO urged the participants that police personnel should follow merit, honesty and willingness to maintain grace of the police uniform in society. On the occasion, MPA Aamir Hayat Hiraj said that if the Police Department succeeded in elimination of the shabby "Thana Culture" there would be no need for political influence. He pointed out that merit in the process of FIRs registration would help the judiciary punish real culprits involved in crimes. District Prosecutor Mian Abul Qayyum, DSP Legal Mehar Muhammad Arif, DSP (r) Saeed Anjum, Advocate Javid Hashmi, Rabia Alvi and Dr Zafar Ali Shah also shared their experiences with participants of the workshop. Later, the MPA distributed commendation certificates among the participants.
