CDA a ruthless tormenter

It was surprising to read CDA advertisement inviting applications from general public for allotment through balloting of residential plots in D12 and E12. Perhaps this is a smokescreen to project its image of an organization which is serving the people of Pakistan, instead of their real role as providers of expensive real estate at throwaway and subsidized rates to paid civil and khaki bureaucracy of this country, or members of the elite pressure groups such as land developers, CDA employees and members of ruling political party. Will the greed of our paid bureaucracy for real estate ever be satiated?
The last time such an advertisement was placed, and plots allotted by CDA to general public was in D12 and E12, way back in 1989 and results of the computer ballots were printed in the newspapers on September 5, 1989. Even after 24 years the successful applicants wait for the plots to be handed over to them in E12, with hundreds having departed from this world, having suffered torment and anguish at the hands of CDA, in whose opinion the common citizen of Pakistan is the least of their priorities. I am one such victim of CDA injustice, who has witnessed thousands of plots allotted to members of elite paid government servants, later, developed and given to them, while we the common citizens waited in the hope that perhaps our turn will come, while they are still alive. Will someone in this country who holds some clout please look into the matter seriously and address this injustice?
