Foreign reserves fall to just over $15b

 KARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $15,521.5 million on September 19. The break-up of the foreign reserves position showed that foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan stand at $9,036.2 million and net foreign reserves held by commercial banks $6,485.3 million. During the week ending September 19, SBP's reserves decreased by $293 million to $9,036 million, due to external debt servicing and other official payments.–APP
