LAHORE - Top eight teams from around the country will be in action in the National Women’s Basketball Championship starting from October 3 at Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad; this was announced by Pakistan Basketball Federation (PBBF) on Monday. According to Organizing Secretary and FBBA Secretary Ouj-e-Zahoor, all arrangements have been completed for the successful conduct of five-day event. The teams are divided into two pools as Pool A comprises Wapda, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Quetta while Pool B includes Army, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar. “Four matches will be played on daily basis in the event to be played from October 3 to October 8. The opening match will be played between Islamabad and Lahore on Oct 3.”
