3 killed in separate incidents

QUETTA Three people were killed in two separate incidents of violence including father and son in Quetta and Bolan district on Wednesday. According to police sources, armed gunmen opened fire on a person identified as Zulfiqar Masih at A-I City of Quetta within the jurisdiction of Brewery police station. As a result, he sustained critical wounds and died before reaching hospital. The attackers escaped from the site after committing the crime. Motive behind killing is yet to be ascertained. Police handed over the body to heirs after completing legal formalities and started investigations. In another incident, two people were strangulated to death in Machh area of Bolan district, some 60 kilometers Southeast of Quetta. Police sources said that Khairullah and his son Faisal Naheem, residents of Quetta had gone to Herak area of Machh to meet their relatives, where they were strangulated to death allegedly by their relatives over matrimonial dispute. Police took the body to hospital for autopsy and later dispatched them to Quetta. Local police has registered a case and started investigations.
