KHANEWAL - Two persons were killed in crossfire between rival groups who fought for the possession of a rickshaw stand near Basti Narhool, Nawan Sher, Kabirwala here on Saturday.

According to police sources, there was a tussle going on between two rickshaw drivers group over the possession of the rickshaw stand.

On Saturday both the groups locked in a gunfight to over the issue.

Resultantly, two persons identified as Nasir, son of Muhammad Ramzan, a resident of Sardarpur, Kabirwala and Liaqat, son of Gul Muhammad sustained gunshot wounds and were rushed to Nistar Hospital Multan but they breathed their last on the way. The police have launched investigation in the incident.
