Mushaikh join hands for Shariah in country


LAHORE – The participants of All Pakistan Mushaikh Conference have decided to contest next general elections from a joint platform to further the agenda of implementing Sharia in the country.
The participants also decided to constitute a five- member ‘Mushaikh Election Committee’ at International Mushaikh Convention to be held on May 1 at Aiwan-e-Iqbal. At the same convention, joint strategy would be evolved to face internal and external challenges and launching of Mushaikh Azam-e-Pakistan movement will be announced. President Pakistan Mushaikh Council and Ameer-e-Milat Foundation chief Pir Munawar Hussain Jamati presided over the conference attended by over 100 sijada nasheens of shrines from all over the country here at a local hotel on Saturday.
The participants stressed upon the need to respect court decision and urged Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry to take notice of government’s lack of action against those involved in terrorist attack on Data Darbar, Sakhi Sarwar, Pakpattan, Abdullah Shah Ghazi and other shrines in the country.
The participants also vowed to fight Qadianis on every front and stressed upon the rulers and CJP to take notice of their activities against the country. Rejecting raise in Hajj fares, the participants urged the rulers to take guidance from Indian Hajj policy and immediately announce 50 per cent subsidy.
