I was really surprised to know the claim of Mr Salim Bokhari (journalist) in a private TV programme on April 27, 2012 that only Constituent Assembly is supreme while otherwise Supreme Court is supreme than normal Parliament. I have remained student of Law, Political Science and International Relations besides long association with journalism. I never come across such type of explanation before. Obviously, this is highly alarming explanation that might have far reaching results on politics of our country. If I have heard such remarks correctly, I would request Mr Bokhari to name some authenticated books to substantiate his claim and also to add to our knowledge otherwise people like me would be justified to term his claim an effort to malign the PPP government.
