2 hurt in blast near Zakariya Express

RAHIM YAR KHAN - The driver and assistant driver sustained injuries in a blast near the locomotive of Zakriya Express on late Sunday night. Police said the explosion occurred near Adam Sahaba station, as a result driver and assistant driver of the train sustained injuries. Railway traffic was suspended on up and down track.
However, it was restored after short period of time. Police further said the blast left 5-feet deep and 4-feet wide crater. The engine of the train was also damaged in the explosion. GM Railway has confirmed that traffic on up and down track has been restored after Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) cleared the track. The injured were taken to Shaikh Zaid Hospital. Police said it was a remote-controlled blast. Baloch Republican Army has claimed the responsibility of the blast.
