ISLAMABAD – The ‘Federal Schools Girls Games Islamabad 2014’ were inaugurated here at the Pakistan Sports Complex on Monday. Federal Minister for IT Anusha Rehman and Federal Minister for IPC Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada were the chief guests on the occasion and inaugurated the games. Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) and Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) Islamabad were jointly organising these games which were being participated by more than 10,000 female students in the competitions of badminton, table tennis, volleyball and athletics. Both the ministers lauded the efforts of the Pakistan Sports Board, Ministry of IPC and Ministry of CADD in this regard and stressed upon the promotion of sports and recreational activities for the youth and particularly for females.–Staff Reporter
