ISLAMABAD - The SECP has said that its deadline for second phase of the amnesty schemes will close on August 31, 2010. Talking to TheNaiton Media Coordinator SECP said that under these schemes the companies had been provided an opportunity to get themselves regularised by filing their overdue returns or to get dissolved. He said that the Companies Regularisation Scheme (CRS) and Companies Easy Exit Scheme (CEES) were launched on 1st July. The companies are advised to get the immediate benefit of the schemes, as the fees will go up in the third and final phase. Moreover he said that only three days are left in the closing of the second phase of the schemes. The detailed requirements of both schemes are provided in Circular No 12 and 13 of 2010, placed on the SECP and is available on SECP website.
