LAHORE - Senior central leader of PML-Q Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said that Pakistan is facing unprecedented disasters because of the rulers wrong deeds and the nation should pray for Allahs mercy in these testing times. He expressed these views during a meeting with a delegation of Dawat-e-Islami at his residence on Saturday. He praised the services of Ameer Dawat-e-Islami Pakistan on this occasion and requested him to hold special prayers during the holy month of Ramazan for an early end to current sufferings of the nation. Pervaiz said that the recent floods had brought unprecedented miseries and hardships for over 20 million Pakistanis. They have lost everything to the gushing floods including their homes, cattle, valuables and thousands of loved ones. PML-Q leader briefed the visiting Dawat-e-Islami delegation about the relief efforts being carried out by his party in the flood affected areas including provision of tents, food items, medicines, stoves, utensils, match boxes and clothes to the unfortunate flood victims. When people lose faith in the rulers then the rulers have no moral grounds to forcibly rule on them. He lauded the relief efforts of Dawat-e-Islami during the recent floods.
