LAHORE LDA Whites and New Khan Club in final of the first New Khan Ramazan-ul-Mubarak Inter-club Badminton Tournament which was being organised by vice president Lahore District Badminton Association Ishtiaq Hanif. In the first semi-final, New Khan Club beat PCC in a thrilling competition by 3-2. In the first match, Kashif and Intikhab of New Khan beat Hashir and Zeeshan by 21-16, 21-17. In the Second match, Wajid of New Khan Club beat Zeeshan of PCC by 21-18, 21-15. In the third match Hashir and Faizan of PCC beat Kashif and Adnan of New Khan by 21-18, 21-19. In the fourth match, Faisal of PCC beat Adnan of New Khan Club by 21-17, 16-21 and 21-14. In the fifth and decisive match, Intikhab and Zaheer of New Khan beat Saqib and Faizan of PCC by 21-19, 27-25. In the second semi-final, LDA Whites beat Govt College Club by 3-0. In the first match, Atiq and Nauman of LDA Whites beat Azeem and Shoaib of GC by 21-14, 21-18. In the second match, Waqas of LDA Whites beat Irfan of GC by 21-18, 19-21 and 21-14. In the third match, Waqas and Umer of LDA Whites beat Azeem and Amer of GC by 21-19, 21-17. The finals will be played Sunday (tonight). Justice Lahore High Court Ijaz Ahmad Chaudhry will be the chief guest on the closing ceremony at 10pm.
