Five people including two real brothers were shot dead in Wahndo village on land dispute here on Wednesday.
According to police, there was a dispute of 5 acres land between Ashraf and Attaullah groups. Two years ago, two brothers of Attaullah Group were also shot dead by their rivals. On the day of incident deceased Ashraf, his brother Asghar, uncle Bashir and cousin Gulfam were busy in their fields when armed men from Attaullah group opened fire and killed them on the spot while an assailant was also died by the firing of his accomplices.
A litigant was killed while his wife sustained injuries, near General Bus Stand for pursuing a murder case. Model Town Police official said that five people were murdered in 2009, on a dispute of 40-acre land in Noshera Virkan and a case was registered against the accused Ejaz, Javed etc and the arrested the accused.
Later, the accused got bail from the court. Zohra Bibi being a member of the deceased family was pursuing the case.
On the day of incident, she along with his husband Ali Akber was on her way to home after court hearing. Meanwhile, near General Bus Stand, their rivals attacked and opened fire on them. Resultantly, Ali Akber died on the spot while Zohra sustained injuries.
Model Town police have registered a case against the accused.
Amidst completely strike observed in Mailsi city, the relatives and common public of the area protested in a huge procession for early arrest of the murderer of twelve years old Usman  whose body was found in a sack in a local graveyard.
The protesters said that abduction incidents of children were increased day by day in Mailsi city. They blocked Vehari Road. Meanwhile, Mailsi Bar also observed complete strike on the issue. Bar President Moazam Ali said, “We condemned the situation was being faced by the citizens and especially children who face fear to go outside the home.
He appealed to Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and other officers concerned to take effective action against perpetrators and control the situation.
