ISLAMABAD - The government has decided to launch Qarz-I-Hasna scheme to provide loans ranging from Rs 100,000 to Rs 20 lakh as part of PM’s Programme schemes from Sept.

A five billion rupees Qarz-e- Hasna scheme will also start under this programme. As per Finance Ministry small loans ranging between Rs 100,000 to Rs 20,00000 will be extended to 50,000 youths. Free of cost laptops will also be distributed among the talented students acquiring higher education under the scheme.

A programme aimed at imparting 25 different skills to middle pass youths will also start. Scheme on payment of fee for the students from under developed areas will be introduced and under this scheme government will pay the fee of the students hailing from interior Sindh, South Punjab, Multan, Bahawalpur and DG Khan.

As many as 50,000 people will be provided loans to the extent of Rs 5 million under house financing scheme.
