AJK PM lauds Nawaz initiative on Kashmir

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has lauded Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for his decision to send 22 members of Parliament to different countries for highlighting the Kashmir issue at international level.

Addressing a meeting of All Parties Hurriyat Conference in Islamabad on Sunday, he said pressure would be mounted on India for resolving Kashmir issue. He said Pakistan is advocate of Kashmiris and a strong and stable democratic Pakistan was indispensable for early liberation of Occupied Kashmir.

Raja Farooq Haider Khan said India was engaged in conspiracies to destabilize Pakistan politically and economically but it would not succeed in its nefarious designs. He said people and government of Azad Kashmir firmly stand with their struggling brethren across the Line of Control. He said India had tried all tactics to suppress Kashmiris but it failed to break their will and determination for liberation. He said his government would reorganize and strengthen Kashmir Liberation Cell to play its role effectively.

The Prime Minister said that election of Muhammad Masood Khan to AJK President will be a milestone in Kashmir liberation struggle.
