FAISALABAD-Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan inaugurated the Model Cattle Market here at Niamuana on Samundri Road.

According to official sources, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif would formally inaugurate the market which was established at a cost of Rs315 million and spread over 112 acres of land.

Steering Committee for Model Cattle Markets In-Charge MNA Afzal Khokhar and other Parliamentarians including Haji Akram Ansari, Begum Khalida Mansoor, Mian Muhammad Farooq, Haji Ilyas Ansari, Divisional Commissioner and MCM Management Company Chairman Momin Agha and DCO Salman Ghani were also present on the occasion.

On the occasion, Rana Sanaullah was briefed that about 22 sheds setup in the market for big and small animals while veterinary a hospital, dormitories for the livestock farmers, bank, restaurants, mosque, toilets, general dispensary, offices and other facilities have also been established in the market.

Mr Momin and DCO Salman Ghani further told him that capacity of the market has been enhanced up to 2,200 animals and it would be extended up to 10,000 animals after its expansion in the future.
