Sindh Rangers Director General Maj-Gen Bilal Akbar on Monday said the paramilitary force had arrested several suspects in connection with last week’s attack on media houses.

“The apprehended suspects revealed that several Muttahida workers carried out the attack on media houses in Karachi,” Waqt News quoted Maj-Gen Akbar as saying.

Earlier today, MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar said he’ll address a press conference pertaining to party affairs. “Enough is enough. We will not be taking any more tension. Now we will be given tension to everyone.”

MQM has been facing severe backlash from the public over Altaf Hussain’s anti-Pakistan statement. Security agencies have sealed MQM offices and held a number of people, including women in the attack on media houses.
