LAHORE - PTI Chairman Imran Khan yesterday urged government to contact British authorities to punish Altaf Hussain for his seditious remarks, while he also announced that his party is moving Supreme Court today against PM Nawaz Sharif over Panama leaks.

“Altaf Hussain has violated British laws by talking sedition against Pakistan. The government should contact the British government to request them to act against Altaf Hussain for his seditious actions using the British soil,” PTI chairman told media yesterday on his arrival in provincial capital to chair his party’s core committee meeting to review September 3 show.

“The remarks uttered by Altaf against Pakistan cannot be expected even from enemies of Pakistan and he must be brought to the book as per British laws which do not allow this sedition. Altaf’s remarks are more poisonous than Indian Premier Modi,” added Mr Khan.

PTI chief said his party will file a petition against the prime minister in Supreme Court today (Monday) regarding Panama leaks because Nawaz Sharif has not cleared his position in the parliament on Panama disclosures.

“We are moving to the Supreme Court with the consultation of other parties. We will provide solid proof to the apex court regarding our petition,” he claimed.

The prime minister has been dragging the issue of Panama Leaks for the last five months. The country which has a corrupt head of the state has no future, he added.

PTI will bring out a sea of people on Sept 3 in the streets of Lahore with its Ehtesaab March, he said. All the opposition and likeminded political parties have been extended invitations for the rally. All the invited political parties should bring their containers to join the rally, he added.

All arrangements with regard to the march have almost been completed and he has reviewed the preparations and passed on further directions to make some additions, said Imran Khan.

Pakistan is facing worst kind of unemployment wave in its history because of poor policies and corrupt practices of the ruling family and their cronies, he claimed.

Punjab Police has become the militant wing of the ruling party which is cleansing the province of the opponents of PML-N, he alleged.

Two brothers who were political opponents of the ruling party were killed and later Mirza Tanveer who was pursuing the case was also murdered, PTI chairman said. Hamza Shehbaz Sharif had asked the wife of Mirza Tanveer to meet him in Model Town, he added.

The police being steered by the ruling party had killed Pakistan Awami Tehreek activists in Model Town. The incident like Model Town didn’t even happen during a dictatorship, he said.

Imran said that transparent polls could not be held without an independent Election Commission. PTI has lost those seats in the general elections which had been rigged, he claimed.

“PTI will present solid proofs against Kh Asif in Supreme Court for his rigging practices during 2013 general elections. Nadra has not verified 0.1 million thumb impressions of the voters in Kh Asif’s constituency,” he added.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s Motu Gang (fat gang) has been propagating for quite some time that PTI is losing popularity, which is completely false. The ruling party will witness the popularity graph of the PTI on September 3, he said.
