CHICHAWATNI-Former prime minister and PPP senior leader Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that he has no words to condemn MQM chief.

“The federal government should take stern action against Altaf on charges of using obnoxious language against Pakistan and its armed forces as no Pakistani can tolerate it,” Pervaiz Ashraf said while speaking at Chichawatni Press Club here the other day.

He said that the government should take notice of anti-Pakistan slogans shouted at the MQM gathering. He said that the country is facing several challenges as the anti-Pakistan powers including India have planted their agents to hijack the country’s economic hub. He stressed the need for the implementation of National Action Plan in the letter and spirit to eliminate every form of terrorism from the country. He also criticised the rulers for having names in Panama papers, saying that history would not forgive those who stole public money. “They set up offshore companies by investing the laundered money in foreign lands,” he regretted.

He also claimed to surprise all the political parties by winning the by-election to NA-162 Chichawatni with a thumping victory. PPP Central Executive Committee members - Ch Manzoor Hussain, Ghulam Fareed Kathia and Jamal were also present on the occasion.
