BoK credit rating upgraded

PESHAWAR - The Bank of Khyber (BoK)'s credit rating has been up-graded by JCR-VIS from medium to long-term and short term rating to "A-" (Single A Minus) and A-2 (A-Two) from "BBB+(Triple B Plus) and A-3(A-Three) respectively Outlook on the rating is "Stable". This was disclosed by Bilal Mustafa, Managing Director BoK while presiding over executive meeting at Head Office this morning. He said the upgradation of entity rating is an appreciation of BoK team efforts for improvement is all operational areas during the period under review by an independent rating agency which is an honour for us. He said the increase in branches network also make a positive addition to BoK rating. He showed his confidence that this upgradation will go a long way for the progress and development of the bank. Bilal Mustafa also advised the senior staff members to work more diligently and devotedly to further strengthen the institution's all operational areas in year to come.
