KARACHI - Commenting on Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s speech, APML’s spokesperson Aasia Ishaque said that Bilawal doesn’t have complete knowledge of history as Zulifqar Ali Bhutto toppled the first elected government of Balochistan and not Pervez Musharraf.

In a statement issued here from central information secretariat, she said on Friday that APML chief Pervez Musharraf had not imposed cruelty on Balochs but saved them from the illegal occupation of Baloch Sardars.

She said that history of 64 years would tell clearly that Pervez Musharraf was the only leader who served the Balochistan and provided all kind of facilities including education, health, clean drinking water and other amenities to Baloch people.

On the other hand, record injustices were made with the Baloch people in the period of Zulifqar Ali Bhutto and their leaders were arrested, she added.

APML central leader said that President Asif Ali Zardari had requested Pervez Musharraf for NRO. Had our leader not accepted his demand, Zardari would not have been the President of the country.

She said Musharraf had responded to all allegations levelled against him. “He would face all fake cases on his return to the country.”

Aasia said that despite remaining in power for five years, PPP failed to arrest the culprits involved in Benazir’s murder, and one of them had been awarded the position of Deputy Prime Minister.

She said that the nation had became wiser now and the people would not come in trap of Bilawal or Asif Zardari as PPP gifted the people with joblessness, hunger, price hike, worsening situation of law and order and many other crises, she concluded.

BILAWAL MOST COMPETENT: A veteran leader of Pakistan Peoples Party, Prof ND Khan has said that PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is the most competent person to carry forward the legacy of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. This legacy is part of the country’s history.

Talking to APP here on Friday, he said that Bilawal has started taking part in the practical politics and that his major role is expected in the forthcoming general elections in the country.

Khan said that his opponents were under the impression that Bilawal was abroad and was not aware of the issues of the country and the people as well as of the national language.

He (Bilawal) surprised them with his pronunciations and punctuations of the Urdu language, he added. He said that the spark of oratory was in Bilawal’s speech which was full of substance.

Bilawal, he said, is conscious of the biggest problem faced by Pakistan which is terrorism and he has given confidence to the people of the country that we will successfully face this challenge and eliminate it.

Prof ND Khan said that Bilawal was also conscious of the economic problems and has reiterated the slogan to provide the people with “Roti, Kapra aur Makan”.

Bilawal has also indirectly given the message that the institutions in Pakistan should remain within their parameters in accordance with the constitution. He further said that Bilawal’s vision was the same as that of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto and that he is the inheritor of the qualities of his forefathers.
