KARACHI - Karachi Chief Metrologist Tauseef Alam said that the dusty winds that entered the City and other parts of the province from Balochistan will continue to persist for the next 24 hours.

He said that cold and dry weather was expected to prevail in the city and minimum temperature was expected remain between 14 to 16 degrees centigrade. The late night dusty winds which began sweeping the city were diminishing the visibility and causing respiratory problems. However, winds subside in the day giving some relief to the coughing people.

The drop in temperature was forcing people to wear warm cloths including sweaters, shawls and jackets.
